Responsibilities :
The Village Clerk's office is often the go to contact for citizens, elected officials, other staff members and contracted personnel.
We in the Clerk's office are responsible for administering elections, issuing licenses and permits, publishing public meeting notices, legal advertisements, and all committee, commission, and board agendas/minutes. We also administer the Board of Review, certifiy the tax levy, and carry out other day-to-day government operations. The Treasurer's office is responisble for property tax collection.
