Responsibilities:
The Village Clerk's office is often the go-to contact for citizens, elected officials, other staff members, and contracted personnel.
The Village Clerk is responsible for administering elections, licenses and permits, meeting agendas and minutes for the Village Board and other committees and commissions, and is the Records Custodian. The Clerk also administers the Board of Review, certifies the Tax Levy, posts and publishes Public Notices, and assists in various day-to-day government operations. The Treasurer is responsible for property tax collection.
