Crawford Park Phase II Grading Project

The Village will be undergoing the next phase of Crawford Park’s expansion after the approval of the Master Plan back in Fall of 2022. The first phase is nearly complete and is the area just south of the new Public Safety Building. This primarily included open grass areas, pedestrian trails and small areas of native prairie. Phase II include the mass grading of the eastern portion of Crawford Park to be converted from the old farm field to new open spaces, storm water ponds, a sledding hill and additional pedestrian trails. The large berm will be removed as you may see the trees have already been cut down in anticipation of this project.  Additional items like court sports, playgrounds, shelters, and more are all part of future phases.  This work will be starting very soon and last nearly 3 months.  The limits of the project are shown below. Please use caution when navigating the Park. We are excited to continue the expansion for our residents to enjoy!
