As of 11/19/2019 the Village of Caledonia is now using the State of Wisconsin Online Building Permit System for all new home applications. Once your permit application to the State has been accepted, provide submit the following:
New Home Requirements:
Please Attach:
- Two sets of house plans to scale
- Two energy worksheets - acquired from the heating contractor
- Two scale copies of a parcel survey. Surveys must include setbacks, elevations, and drainage plan
- Copy of Port-a-Potty contract (§15-1-31)
- Specifications for a pre-fabricated fireplace, if applicable
- If a mound system is needed, a sanitary permit from Racine County Planning & Development is required
