  • The deadline to register in-person at the Clerk's office is 5:00pm on the Friday before an election. You can still register at your polling location on Election Day.

The deadline for regular voters to request an absentee ballot is the Thursday before an election. However, it is highly encouraged to send your request as soon as possible. Ballots should be mailed back to the clerk no later than 1 week prior to Election Day. 

Vote Early In-Person Absentee

IPAV begins 2 weeks before Election Day. The Village of Caledonia conducts all IPAV at Village Hall during regular business hours. For exact times and dates for a specific election, see the Election Notices posted below. 

"Early voting" is Absentee voting. You will complete an absentee certificate envelope and seal your ballot inside. Your ballot will be tracked and securely stored at Village Hall until Election Day when it will be opened and counted. 


Election Day Polling Locations

The Village of Caledonia has six polling locations and Central Count location where all absentee ballots are processed on Election day. 

Polls are open from 7am to 8pm. Curbside voting is available by request for those who are in need of assistance. If you are in need of assistance, look for the curbside voting sign and dial the specified number.

Wards 1 and 2 - Caledonia Highway Garage, 6922 Nicholson Rd 

Wards 3, 4 and 5 - Faithbridge Methodist Church, 10402 Northwestern Ave 

Wards 9, 10, 12 and 13 - St. Mesrob, 4605 Erie St

Wards 11, 14, 15, 17 - Village Hall, 5043 Chester Ln

Wards 16, 18, 19 - Prince of Peace Church, 4340 6 Mile Rd 

Wards 6, 7, 8, 20, 21 - Grace Church, 3626 Hwy 31

Central Count - Public Safety Building, 5045 Chester Ln
